Australian Fungal Diversity Initiative (AFDI) was founded in 2026 by a group of citizen mycologists for the purpose of documenting and sequencing macrofungi across the continent of Australia. We collect, voucher, and sequence native macrofungi to understand and conserve fungal diversity.
